Do You Have A Form of Religious Pride?

Giftings

Part 2

We are in an age where through Technology the world predominantly has been reduced to a touch of a button. Truth be told Technology mirrors what can  happen in the realm of the spirit when we are in tune to the spirit of God. We are able to hear and see what is happening in another country, church, home business in real time or ahead of time.

Covid-19 has helped to accelerate the aim of creating a dependency on the internet. If we are to be honest most of us are now more hooked on it now than before covid-19. There are more services and ministries online than ever before and persons are taking advantage of this. Several persons are members or faithful attendees of multiple churches based on what the world wide web now affords.

This seems to be pushing many persons and ministries to become more performance driven than Spirit led, all for the sake of money and numbers. Religious pride through the various giftings are on display for the whole world to see. Whenever there is a manifestation of religious pride through giftings there will be collaboration between familiar spirits and the gifted, unbeknownst to them. This means that there will be more deceptions within the body of Christ.

Numbers 3:4 speaks of two priests Nadab and Abihu who it was said brought strange fire before the Lord and their judgement was immediate death. There are several speculations as to what made the fire strange or unauthorized. Was it where they got the fire, was it the incorrect incense used, were they not consecrated enough, was it the wrong time? Whereas we are uncertain as to the specifics, we are certain that they knew what was required and choose to not follow that order. There are so many gifted people with great influence that are offering strange fire before the Lord because of their religious pride. They have become so performance driven that they have silenced God’s voice and are following their own order. They are like Samsons that based on the reliance on the gift or grace on their life, get up and shake themselves as at other times and realized that their strength has left. Instead of repenting and taking the time off to find where they are fallen and allow the requisite healing and deliverances to take place, they continue at the expense of their soul and the souls within their scope of influence.

In Ezekiel 13 the Lord upbraids prophets that lost their intimacy.  Matthew concise commentary says:

13:1-9 Where God gives a warrant to do anything, he gives wisdom. What they delivered was not what they had seen or heard, as that is which the ministers of Christ deliver. They were not praying prophets, had no intercourse with Heaven; they contrived how to please people, not how to do them good; they stood not against sin. They flattered people into vain hopes. Such widen the breach, by causing men to think themselves deserving of eternal life, when the wrath of God abides upon them.

Matthew Concise Commentary
Are you offering strange fire?

We are in a time when the prophetic, contrary to popular belief is needed. If we understand a little how the kingdom of darkness works whenever there is an expectation for an answer, help or deliverance to come from a particular calling, gifting or gender, the attacks are intense, or the counterfeits increase. When Moses and Jesus were to be born, the decree went out to kill baby boys 2 years and under. The adversary may not understand fully the purpose, but he understands sufficiently about the ways of God and how to interpret angelic activity to know someone great was on the scene. Hence, the plot to kill the seed and not give it an opportunity to manifest. The story of the man that sowed his seeds and the enemy came and sowed while they slept is also an indication as to what harvest was going to be reaped as the enemy sowed among it. The prophetic is needed and so there are several prophets that would represent the tares that the enemy sowed, among the seed that the Farmer God sowed. They both will have to grow together until the day of harvesting. The tares and the wheat look very similar, just like the prophet and the false prophet, but as they grow and their fruit is made manifest, the real deal will be evident to all. In Ezekiel, those prophets were among true prophets, growing together until God made a clear distinction via His judgement of them.

One of the marked distinctions of those that will be used mightily in this end time is the spirit of humility. Remember pride always leads to a fall, so them operating in their gift with religious pride, will soon see to a falling. Those who are humble will be given the grace to endure and therefore will be entrusted with more. Note this scripture”

James 4:6 AMP
But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].”

There is too much showboating and competing and comparing in the body of Christ. We have taken our attention away from Christ and the Kingdom and are focusing on self and the assets of others, These things ougth not so to be brethren!

If we really want to go high and stay high in God, humility is the way only way to GO!

Apostle, thanks for the reminder. Indeed if we want to go high and stay high in God, humility is the only way to go. There is too much self glory and competition among the saints of Christ. It’s so evident how some are soaked with pride and flying on its wings.
