A New Era

At the beginning of the year, I heard the Lord say this is the beginning of a new era. I thought this word was only for me or my ministry family. In December last year we were instructed as a ministry to go on a fast centered around Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV which says:

¹⁸ Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. ¹⁹ Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

We were told that new things are on the horizon. Back to this year, I have been asking God about this new era and what it means; I connected with someone new recently in Africa and they were told the same thing about a new era, and they thought it was a personal word. The Lord led me to a preacher that mentioned it as well. I thought wow, this thing is real!

Era, as defined by the Britannica Dictionary, is “a period of time that is associated with a particular quality, event, person, etc. Examples: the Victorian era, the Christian era, the era of the horse and buggy.” This is not to be confused with a dispensation, which is commonly called a “divine era.”  A dispensation is a specific period in time in which God gives man an instruction or gives them a responsibility. He states the judgment if there is disobedience and gives man a hope through grace after the judgment. We are still in the dispensation of grace, but a new era has begun.

There are three focus scriptures for this era thus far. The first  –Isaiah 42:9-“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” There is a declaration of new things that is in the atmosphere. A new move of God that has not been seen before is on the horizon. For some time, I was getting that the Lord was preparing people to be able to host certain graces and mantles of old. The newness with this, however, is that within one person will lie multiple mantles or graces that will form an amalgam. These hybrids that will be released in this era will be fully equipped to handle the increased creativity and heightened works of darkness. Darkness and the carriers thereof are becoming bolder and bolder, things are no longer spoken in codes or done in secret. Many that have suffered long and many that have been trying hard to remain in the secret place are rising, their light has come, and the Glory of God has risen upon them. The Master Orchestrater of time will not allow anything in darkness to prevail against His Church. We are in for some more powerful demonstrations of the power, love and mercy of God. The manifestations of the power of God will take on new forms. It’s an era where there will be an increase in creative and unusual miracles!

The second scripture, 1 Peter 4:17 – “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” I said in another blog, and I reiterate it here, that there will be a marked distinction in regards to those who are His, as opposed to those who are pretending to be His. The Pure in heart will see God in a new, powerful, refreshing and exciting way! New weapons, new tongues, new graces and much more are awaiting the faithful ones! No matter what the adversary tries against these, it will be rendered null and void. God is ALWAYS lifting a standard for His people, and in this era it will look different.  The cries of those for justice have been heard! God will show Himself strong as the Knight in Shining Armor that He is!

Third Scripture, Psalm 75:6 KJV – “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.” I have been receiving that there will be several shifts, promotions and demotions and that people will be instructed to change locations. For some, the instruction to change location will be for the purpose of alignment for the sake of their destinies, some because they are an obstacle and some because they will be sent on missions. The sense is strong that more ministries will be launching out and will be entrusted with the requisite resources for the work of missionaries. Some ministries will continue in a fruitless cycle of work and not ministry. There is a sense that we all must be in a state of readiness of heart, mind, soul and body to move at His command. For those who have sacrificed much for many years, they can expect to reap, even in areas where they did not even sow.

The return of the Lord Jesus is still near. Let us look up for indeed our redemption is drawing nigh. Now is not the time to fight against each other. It’s time to saddle up and not slacken our ride. Let’s think Kingdom and let the will of the Lord be made manifest in the earth realm as in the heavenly realm in Jesus’ name!
