DRIVE IN 2025!

A powerfully blessed 2025 to you all in the Mighty name of Jesus! Thanks for your support in 2024 and I look forward to our continued connection in 2025. Last year was a blessing and I anticipate great things despite all the predicted challenges in this year.

DRIVE in 2025. This blog will look at drive according to its customary definitions and also as an acronym. It is partially inspired by a vision I had in December 2024 during my lock down. In this vision I was in the sky, and I saw a huge hand with a colossal silver sieve. The hand was sieving the contents. I drew closer to see what was in the sieve and I realized that they were people. I immediately thought of the scripture in Luke 22:31 regarding Satan desiring to sift Peter as wheat. The Lord said this was not the scene presented. As I continued to look, people were free falling through the holes in the sieve. I was trying to see where they would land but it seemed like an endless journey. The Lord redirected my focus to those that were left in the sieve. Those that were falling out were very slim and those that remained were heavy set. He explained that those that were falling out had leanness of soul, they had little to no spiritual substance and a shallow relationship with Him. Those that were plump, He said, these carried weight in the spirit, they are disciplined, determined, lovers of God and His Kingdom, and are seeking to go deeper in Him. These are the ones He said He will be using for the next major moves in the body of Christ because they have made themselves ready and await His command.

Psalms 139:3 says, “Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.” The Hebrew word for compassest is zarah  (zaw-raw’), which means to sift, scatter, disperse, winnow, scrutinize. Strong’s Lexicon explains that “its often used in the context of winnowing grain, where the chaff is separated from the wheat by throwing it into the air so that the wind carries away the lighter chaff. This action symbolizes separation, purification, and judgment. In a broader sense, “zarah” can also refer to the scattering of people, often as a form of divine judgment or consequence of disobedience.” King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:18AMPC, “¹⁸ I said in my heart regarding the subject of the sons of men, God is trying (separating and sifting) them, that they may see that by themselves [under the sun, without God] they are but like beasts.” The sifting started from about 2 years ago and is intensifying on the earth. More exposures are coming for those who have refused to heed to the former warnings. There will be the passing of assignments to the willing, those who have been lazy regarding instructions, or neglect to write the book or start a podcast or business as the Lord said are about lose out. Those who have not been good stewards regarding gifts, graces, mantles, talents, offices, stand the chance of losing them or becoming grossly ineffective in their usage. Greater distinctions are about to be made between the clean and the profane.

There are several definitions for drive, according to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary. The relevant ones are: 1. “to exert inescapable or coercive pressure on”- God wants us to become impassioned once again regarding our relationship with Him and His Kingdom, 2. “to press or force into an activity, course, or direction” – He wants us to be energized to follow through on what we have committed to, or what He has instructed us on, 3.“to give shape to or impulse to”- He wants us to put things in place to maintain gains and live in sustained victories, 4. “to force (a passage) by pressing or digging”- God wants our faith to be the driving force that will create ways, open doors and gates for the manifestations of the miraculous, 5. “to carry on or through energetically” – We need spiritual stamina as we will have to endure hardships as good soldiers of Jesus Christ, and 6.“to repulse, remove, or cause to go by force, authority, or influence” – we must push back the darkness, repel the enemy through purity and stand in our authority against the adversary.

The believers this year cannot allow unskilled or unqualified drivers in any area of their lives. It’s a season where God is calling us all into accountability and we will have to give account for our decisions, actions, speech etc. Everyone should submit to the will of God and partner with the Holy Ghost in order to maneuver well the various terrains as we drive on this road called life.

The acronym for drive, D-Definitively, R-Re-established, I-In, V-Vine, E-Exclusively. For 2025 the Lord is calling for a grounding, an anchoring, a sending down of our spiritual roots deep into His Word and love. This is so we can come out of the season of identity crises and confusion about calling, destiny and direction. It’s a year for a greater realigning with the will of God. He wants for us to choose to be His exclusively, this means we have no idols, not even idols of the heart and our focus on what He is focused on. He wants us to walk more closely to Him to escape deceit and certain judgments pending various nations in the world.
